Prayer for Mother Earth

Yes, shall we commence this morning with a prayer for Mother Earth. We see that Mother Earth has suffered greatly at the hands of humankind. She has lost her mountains, majestic forests, green fields and clear rivers to the cost of humankind’s economic and industrial evolution. She has withstood the creation of acid rain, which was another of man’s donations to the environment. However, she has witnessed the destruction of this planet long enough and will not stand for more. She, as a tolerant mother, has finally reached the limit of her tolerance for humankind’s folly. And so, we who are aware of her intent and strive to live in harmony with her natural laws pray to assist her in her triumph over the spoils of progress. In so doing, we offer to act as stewards for her rejuvenation and ask for guidance so that we do our job correctly and without aim of our own. We offer our hearts and hands at the feet of her greatness and seek to continue in our own evolution, so that through furthering our own awareness, we can better serve her. The way to enact a change is not simply through political means or through demonstrations against injustices borne by our Mother Earth, but more than that, it is reflected in how we live our lives, how we conduct our daily affairs. Each negative word, every false accusation, every indulgence in sorrows and fear affects the balance on this graceful planet. Therefore, we ask for guidance on how to live our lives, how to evolve into the beings whom we are meant to become and in so doing, we offer our lives as a reflection of the nobility and integrity befitting our evolved species. And so, we become planetary Light beings, ultimately freeing ourselves from the bonds of earthly birth to be instead evolved in the spirit of the Divine.
