Dear friends,
My son Jacob and I just returned from a fast-paced visit to U.S. where we stayed primarily with Baltimore Homa Community in Baltimore, Maryland. Our visit was a lively combination of meetings with elders and young people in the community, visits with family and individual healings. It was a very full trip and we are both so grateful for every person we had the opportunity to work with, drum, dance and sing with! Always a joy.

While in America, it became even more apparent to us how easy it is to become complacent in a society of relative ease. Even if one’s individual life is not easy, it is a land where everything works! I saw the Homa community there working hard to support each other in their times of need, which was so heartening and inspiring.
At the same time, returning here made me very grateful for how unified and harmonious our Homa community is here at Bhrugu Aranya, in a land which certainly has less efficiency and many challenges. It is all about rising to the occasion and making the very best of one’s life.
Here, in addition to a busy, bountiful harvest, we are focused on developing the Centre of Light. We foresee great need for food storage and for providing shelter for the future, as well as nurturing creativity and hope in these intense times. Our goal is to offer this space to Light.
It takes conscious, continual effort to stay centered in a world full of distractions and illusions. Maya, as they say. I see how it can be a real struggle to maintain one’s footing in the ‘real’ world, the nuts and bolts of life.

Orion addresses issues of communication and it seems to me the crux of many misunderstandings in life stem from miscommunication. Learning to communicate in healthy ways is the need of the hour. Shedding the trappings of judgment and learning to practice forgiveness paves the way for truth and clarity in communication.

There are several references to being committed to one’s higher purpose in life. It is not something we can plan to do tomorrow. It is something we must do today. Orion calls on us to avoid being fence sitters and reminds us there is no time for ‘half measures.’ I feel the timeliness of their messages.

Again, we can only do this united. Though the current global climate can often divide rather than unite, we are more aware of the complacency expected of human beings today and we can rise above it and become truly awake and aware, espousing truth with all our hearts.

August 17, 2012 On Surviving without Fear
Yes, yes. As violence increases in America, the incidents become less shocking. No matter how intense it becomes, it is always in the end, life—or as they say, ‘business as usual.’

Beings become accustomed to fear. They begin to mistrust and shut down communication with others outside their immediate circles of friends and associates. Global awareness becomes secondary to individual. Survival in the world becomes the main focus.

Survival without extending to the whole is impossible. All are interconnected. Global interconnectivity is not only necessary for survival as a civilization—it is also essential to evolving as a species!

On Inspiring Children
One need begin with children. Educate your children to be the awakened, compassionate beings they are born to become.

Awareness of global concerns is one way to help them to expand and grow as vibrant, connected human beings. It is impossible to be egocentric when one is fully aware of the whole.

Educate and inspire your children to become deeply compassionate human beings and give them opportunities for SERVICE.

August 26, 2012 On Judgment
Yes, yes. Shall we speak of judgment? As we have warned many years before, JUDGMENT closes doors. JUDGMENT blocks the process of understanding, impedes the process of communication and makes unity far more difficult to attain. Judgment is at the root of war and conflict between individuals, between communities, between countries.

To simply instruct oneself or others to ‘not judge’ will not help. Develop concrete ways to create an atmosphere of deeper communication, resulting understanding, and follow this with cooperation in discovering solutions and compromises to resolve conflicts between you.

If one permits one’s mind to go into the state of judgment, one ceases to remember one’s higher role. Judgment also thwarts one’s spiritual evolution.

Seek to do away with labels for people. They cannot remain in one state. The very nature of the human being is change. When one labels another being, one essentially places false limitations on that being.

Understanding acknowledges the weaknesses in character, but—unlike judgment—opens the heart to compassion. Thus, solutions begin to arise where otherwise hopelessness dooms.

Acceptance is Understanding in Action.

One may still decide whom one permits to be in one’s life. If someone exhibits negative or aberrant behavior, you have the right to refuse to engage with that being. Still, even that can be accomplished with grace and understanding.

Setting boundaries for acceptable behavior is an extension of Truth, a mark of integrity. Without judgment of another, boundaries can be expressed and adhered to with understanding, compassion and love.

On Erratic Weather
Yes, yes. There will be places on this planet which have long been blessed with great rains, and at these places there will be long periods when rain does not fall.

At places known for arid soil, long stretches of desert with little recorded rainfall, sudden torrential rains will wreak havoc there—with little or no warning.

Erratic weather patterns will become the new ‘norm.’

At places of FIRE, rains will come and they will be nurturing, healing rains. Even if in all regions around, there are droughts or excess rain, a balance of Nature will exist in sacred sites of Fire.

On Cancer
The being L inquires about cancer and the prevalence in United States at this time. Certainly the ‘dreaded’ disease is on the increase. Of course, one can count on the various contributing factors—increases in air, water, soil pollution, certainly the consumption of vast quantities of genetically modified substances—not only foods, but in medicines as well! Add the reliance upon the chemical culture, the increased dependence upon computers and the deleterious effects of super technology.

Dear ones, dear ones, there is no time to waste in the comfortable discomfort of the world as you now know it!

It is high time for a change. To return to the ways of old, alternative healing modalities, cleansing and purification of body, mind and spirit, and hands-on approach to child rearing.

In the rushed culture, especially in cities, there is no time for self-development, no allotment for releasing one’s stored up fears, resentments, anxieties and pain. When you ask why so many are succumbing to cancer at this time, these are only part of a myriad of variables contributing to the malaise.

On Moving Toward the Light
Draw near those whom you love now. Prepare your bodies, minds and souls for transitioning into Light. The world will change, but there are those who are being made ready to light the Light of Truth in the hearts and minds of many.

Divine has no need for ‘fence sitters’ and would-be saints who just cannot seem to manifest the requisite courage and faith to turn the tide.

Be ye one with He who hath sent you forward into the world.
Carry the Light wherever you are drawn, wherever you are called.
Have ye no doubt.
Have ye no hesitation.
This is the movement into Light.
And Divine can count you one by one.
Go forward.

On the origin of our ‘Tribe’
Yes, yes. Vibration from ancient Mantras chanted for thousands of years reaches a peak in these times. Fires and chanting are more intensified now. It is like the call of the Ancients, a reconnecting with ancestors whose work was to carry the flame.

In ages of old, the flame was the source. It was at the center of the tribe. It was carried through travels of those whose nomadic roots dictated travels throughout the ancient kingdoms. In those days, many ancient Sadhus and religious tribes were nomads.

In fact, dear ones of Bhrugu Aranya, nearly all (not all) who reside here once were a part of a remote nomadic tribe in northern India. Each of you were unlikely to settle in one region in this incarnation, but have been led to each other to re-form the tribe.

On Shree Vasant
Many of those who are, at present, devotees of Shree Gajanan Maharaj and Shree Vasant, were from this tribe. Though the tribe was then spread throughout India, many have returned to the Guru in this lifetime.

Yes, yes. The great Master Shree Vasant drew upon His ancient heritage to call the children home to the fire. This great, modern day Saint walked with His disciples from village to village, from desert to mountains, always reciting the Name of the Lord. He slept on the ground on a grass mat and wore the simplest of shoes, if at all. His humility was reflected in His life. As He was then, He was now.

September 13, 2012 We Are What We Eat
Yes, yes. You must understand that what you eat affects your thoughts. Impressions in the food you consume are taken into the body and either assimilated in a nutritive manner, rejected by the system, or partially utilized, storing indigestible byproducts in the body, later causing problems. Digestive problems, arthritis, rheumatism, and all diseases can be traced at least in part to the foods you eat. However, the mind is also strongly affected by the diet, not to mention the effects on the emotional body, nervous system, etc.

If an animal experienced fear or trepidation before or during slaughter, those intense energies of fear are included in your meal! Animal products resulting from death to the animal are ones which can be traced to aggression in human beings—but not only. They can also contribute to depression and increased nervousness.

September 21, 2012 On True Communication
Yes, yes. Communication is actually a complex process, particularly when a group on various levels of awareness assembles. One part of the group may be discussing a high spiritual principle which unfortunately the rest of the group either has no interest in, or has no capability of following the thread of the conversation. Not ready yet to recognize higher knowledge, they may scoff at the others or simply depart.

When beings interact, there are various ‘transactions’ which may occur. In one, both beings may insist upon giving their wisdom, whether welcome or not. One speaks while the other prepares his or her speech. No real interaction thus occurs. They are ‘talking at’ each other.

Another scenario often played out in social situations—one being gives and the other(s) take, take, take. The one who is giving may feel consequently drained of psychic energy and relieved when the interaction ends. The one who takes will feel oddly satisfied and sleep far better than his information donor!

Interesting. Now, the ideal is when there is a flow between the two, a natural, harmonious circulation of energies which supports the free give-and-take of the social interaction.

One could, using some instruments recording energy waves, see the energies moving out from one being to the other and a return of energies, like a flood coming in return. This is a rare and sacred contact. Value and honour such relationships, as they are the cornerstone of communications of a higher frequency.

Sacred communication may occur without words or sound. Words simplify what the heart recognizes immediately when two connected souls meet. Words become a framework for an altered state of conscious interaction. They keep you grounded on the earthly plane, permitting your souls to generate their own experience!

When one drops all forms of judgment, clear communication from heart to heart has a chance to blossom.

September 23, 2012 On Forgiveness
Yes, yes. Seek to find solace in silence rather than judge another individual. Practice ‘blanket forgiveness!’ Blanket forgiveness is our term to cover open-ended acts of forgiveness which rise above the spiraling tendency towards blame, shame and subsequent resentment.

Is it not a possibility that truth can be many-fold, can take many forms and result in various solutions? Cannot human beings recognize that the truth can be seen through different eyes, resulting in varying viewpoints and experiences? If one at least opens the door slightly to allow for different interpretations, one can learn acceptance of other points of view. This leads to a greater understanding for all. OM.

Focus on forgiveness. Read about forgiveness. Write about forgiveness. Perform acts of kindness from the forgiving heart. This is the key word for your progress on spiritual escalator.

Forgiveness is like the thrust which propels one’s journey forward on spiritual dimension.

Delving into ‘he said, she said’ or dredging up issues from the dark past will yield nothing but reopen an old wound. Forgiveness will at once cleanse and heal and seal the wounds of the past. Once sealed with forgiveness, do not revisit them. Instead, let them be taken from your heart, no longer to bear weight on your shoulders—not yours to carry further on the Path to Light.

Fortunate are those who walk in Light. OM.

October 2, 2012 On Answering the Call
Yes, yes. This is the widest window of opportunity being thrust open at this moment in time. This is the time of Homecoming. It is the time of REUNION. It is the time of gathering, of recognizing what is your tribe and reconnecting.

There is great potential for ecstatic joy in realization. The blessing of awareness unveils the paved path of redemption and evolution.

Such powerful times call for powerful voices chanting as one, one-pointed faith in Divine direction and the promise of Eternal Life. This is the time for NO HALF MEASURES. It is the time to tear down the fences whereupon many perch in waiting!

What are you waiting for?

Your ship is docked and waiting for you to board. Make no mistake. It is here and now.

Champion your causes from your seats behind computer screens—Ok, but if you do not get up and live what you speak, you will find yourselves standing on the shore watching the great ships sail away into time. Be here now.

And yes, yes. These are the times as told in the Bible. These are the blessed, sacred times that Hopi elders called for, Mayan elders predicted, great sages and seers of nearly every spiritual discipline have foreseen.

Lo and behold, these are the great times chosen for the rebirth. Adjust yourselves. Ready and steady your crafts. The great calling is beginning. Blessings unfold.
